Ready for some good old action fun n’ gun shoot’ em’ up rootin’ tootin’ fun? You’re in for a treat then. Killzone 2 pits you up with a warrior of the ISA, Vekta unlike Killzone and Killzone Liberation where you are in your home planet, Killzone 2 takes place inside of the gears of the planet Helghan, and you’re beginning your stand in their home-front now! Let me start off by saying the first thing I saw was the awesome cinematics and glorious graphics that gave me an orgasmic feeling so good, it felt like I was playing on the Playstation 6 (use your imagination). Really, the graphics were like the ultimate glory of the game. Killzone 2 has a slow start with an action packed climax. Yes It starts out slow, but adds up as it goes with beautiful gun-play and action, and it isn’t hard to tell whose your friend or enemy as the first thing you see is the glowing red eyes.. and BOOM a head shot coming straight for you!
I liked the camera motions and projectile physics in the game, it really added up to the action, what really got me is how it was like a full on action-war SCI-FI movie with awesome explosions and a really crazy fascist thrill to it. Literally, fascism, you got Vektans getting killed left and right and the next thing you see is a bullet to another persons brain! It is really intense and I wouldn’t mind a Killzone 3 may I add!
There isn’t much gore but there is lots of language which some people say is unnecessary, but really? If there were missiles everywhere, and bullets going under my rig of a drop-ship.. I’d be saying the f-bomb and sh-bomb left and right. The game-play is what makes a game, and I’ve never been stunned in my life, if you thought Playstation 3 had nothing good on it? Wait till you see Killzone 2. Sure it looks boring on the game footage some times, but it is like Call of Duty, Battlefield 2142, Gears Of War, and many other good games mashed into one orgasmic scene of what should be called the best “Playstation 3 Game of The Year!”. The game is like Call Of Duty 4, but better, seriously, if you thought Gears Of War and Call Of Duty was good you’d be coming inside of the gaming tunnel for more!
The singleplayer is about ten hours but the multi-player makes up for it, class customization choices and a good leader-board stats, awesome community, a good stats book, everything is good about this, it is a full on sci-fi invasion of fun, and I would recommend you get your ass up in here pronto!
