What a pain! A big problem resulting in this is commonly caused by a bad patch. So don’t waste anymore time and download the fix for the issue below:

*Password to the archive is nosta12 and you have to open it with WinRAR

I didnt work for me. I copied the files to my game directory but when I load my game it still crashes.

i put in on but i dont know if it works for my case
my case: at the end of the empires 4th mission (right after all objectives are completed) the game chrashes but id just closes doest evean say the game is no longer working it just quits with no info on why

I put this patch in the RA3 installatioin directory, with a little modification, rather then replacing the Data folder i add the data folder contents in the original data folder at the RA3 installation directory
